my medical

I recently said that i wasnt on here for a little bit as i had some medical things that had to be done, well yesterday i had to go for a HSG x-ray, i know that when i have a baby it is going to be uncomfortable as a baby is quite large but the dr had to insert a balloon 'down there' and pump it up then inject dye in to see if my fallopian tubes were blocked or something but once they inflated the balloon the sensation was so weird, i wouldnt think that a baby that is growing wouldnt be growing quite that fast so i think my body would get used to the size but having the balloon grow to the size of a medium orange with in like a second isnt natural, well it was an experience i suppose lol, well it should be about 3 weeks till i get the results when me and dave go back to the fertility doctor that is when we get the results of daves 'mobility' too so i will have to see what they say about all that. i was also placed on metformin 3 weeks ago to help me ovulate so hopefully the ball will start rolling soon, it seems to be that there are alot of people i know who are having babies at the moment, not all of them are really deserving of them, but that is just the way it is, not all of them are though there are some that i am happy for as they are in loving and committed relationships so that is good but i just cant stand it when there are people who are pregnant but do not have a partner and are proud of it, its wrong and i cant wait till the government changes and they dont get all the benefits that they do and us people who work and want a baby will be better off.

inspiration board

For a while i have been thinking of doing an inspiration board butnever really got round to doing it, well i finally did it today on dessy so by using some of their pictures and some of my own that i found and some photos i have taken i made one, i a loving the little purple headbands i would love my bridesmaids to have hair similar to this but im not sure if the purple will go with the blonde of amy's hair.

how much guests pay

sorry its been a while i have been having some medical stuff done that i will explain later..

i couldnt believe when i just looked on aol news and it says that the average wedding guest pays around £400 to attend a wedding and of this less than £100 is on the gift, this dosnt seem right, they included around £70 for food before and after the wedding but i thought most people have a wedding breakfast or at least an evening buffet?? im having both, i thought that was the norm... then saying that they have to spend hundreds on outfits and if they are going to more than one wedding a year that is doubled or tripled, what it wrong with wearing the same outfit more than once, here is a little hint, the wedding isnt about you its about the bride and groom...duh.

one wish

well i recently wrote about my problems with having a baby, well i went to my doc and he prescribed me metformin hoping to regulate and help me ovulate, well there was one problem with this is i couldnt tae pills, i had tried so many times but could never swallow them, never have been able to even back to when i was younger and me and my cousin were out skating in the garden and ispained my wrist my mom tried to get me to take a pill but i couldnt swallow it then, well i now hae to cut one pill into 4 pieces then use a sports bottle to drink from, i know this is weird but this is the only way i can do it, plus this is one thing that i want so bad it is a big thing for us, well i have been taking these pills for a few weeks now and am hoping that it helps me out because on the plus side these pills can help me to lose weight as it sorts out my insulin resistance so that should help with my arms and back which i was a little bit bothered about being in my wedding dress whre every other part of my body is covered other than these areas. Another good part about trying for a baby that me dave and my mom have spoken about is how great it would feel to have either a mini me or mini dave either walking down the aisle or being escorted by my mom, i would be so delighted to be able to share my big day with a little one that i can show when they grow up just how much it ment to me for them to be there to celebrate one of the best days of my life with them. i will still think my big day will be one of the most magical days ever if we are not blessed by then though.

best bridal blogs

i am so pleased that best bridal blogs had accepted my blog, hopefully now i will get more people reading and maybe contributing to ideas and such.

well i emailed the photographer to ask how they work when you have the engagement shoot and if i would get the pictures to use for the wedding, they said as they are in sheffield the would charge for travel which is set at 31p so that would be around £50 for travel but it is still less that $500 for the package but then i thought if we have the engagement shoot we would have to pay for travel again so i was thinking of looking in to places to go in sheffield or the surroundings, but havnt chosen anywhere yet as it is a long time till then and the fact that i am getting aliitle ahead of myself as i cant start booking anything else and pay deposits till at the very least next january due to finances, so i have tried to keep my looking to a minimum but still getting my fix.

i did find this little thing that i just had to share with you that if i had £275 i would like to book this, its barnabys ice cream on wheels, and is based in my town its so cute and for the price you get 4 flavours of ice cream or sorbet and waffle cones for around 150 people, even though i wont be having that many people, so i thought if i did have the money i would see if i could hire it for less time and for less people, maybe for a lower cost, for outside the church, i thought this would be a great idea. they even can dress it up with coloured ribbon to match your theme.

some changes

well we were thinking the other day (as we walked from the movies to my house in a huge down pore) that did we really have the need for a photo booth??? i was picturing the hotel and i really dont think there would be room for one without it being in the way, i really did like the idea so very much but that was going to cost around £500 and then more with the price inflation over the next 2 years and then if we needed idle time so i thought i would look into paying a little more for an all day photographer, and i found a really good one (from the pictures i have seen and feedback on the website) and they do some great packages which are quite cheap, as i found in the metro newspaper one day at work there is a site called bobs books that said they do wedding books too at very reasonable prices so i had a look and they were amazing value,
the hardback books (one on the left below) for example are: for a 50 page book in a 28 x 36 cm is £67.99, thats the biggest size but they go from 26 pages up to 130 pages, and the smallest is £30.99 for a 50 page in 21 x 21 cm but this one only goes p to 98 pages.
the photographic books are similar to the hard back but lay flat (middle picture) and these come in 3 sizes, 30 x 30cm, 28 x 21cm and 21 x 21 cm and they range from, £46.99 for 26 pages to £88.99 for 82 pages for the 30 x 30cm, (they dont do them any bigger), £31.99 for 26 pages to £61.99 for 82
but the best value is the paperback books (right picture), they come in 2 sizes, the 28 x 21cm ranges from £16.99 for 26 pages to £52.99 for 130 pages, and a 21 x 21cm from £15.99 for 26 pages to £38.99 for 98 pages.
how great is that, and its easy to do too, you have to download their program then upload your pictures to where you want them in the book and then send it either by email or post and they will make it for you. this is definatly what we are going to do, as we will be saving about £500 we can get quite a few different books in different sizes with a whole range of photos even the ones our guests take.

while we are on the topic of photos i will let you in on the package that we were looking at, the only thing is i have to get in touch with them as they are in sheffield and i am not so i will hav to pay for travel,
its the silver package which includes:
pre wedding / engagement photoshoot
full day photography till 11 pm
all the photos on cd
cd tin inscribed on the lid
and all the copyrights
we thought of having some printed but we can get some of those done at the shopping centre a lot cheaper and as we would own the copyrights and with the books that would last a lifetime with out paying for it for a lifetime lol.
and this package is only going to cost.....are you ready.....you wont believe it but......£430 wow how amazing is that!!!!!
